Coach Malone's expertise stems from 10 years as an amateur boxer, nearly 30 years as a USA Certified Coach & over 20 years as a USA Certified Official. He has produced numerous local Silver Gloves and Golden Gloves champions as well as a USA National Champ, Pan-American Games Champ, and an Olympian. Melvin served in the United States Navy where he received training as an electronic technician. He holds a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Coach Malone is also a certified teacher through the Texas State Board of Educators.
